The highly anticipated Siddharth Bank Nepal Premier League (NPL) Cricket is set to kick off with an exciting opening match between the Biratnagar Kings and Janakpur Bolts on Saturday, November 30, at 12:15 PM. The Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) recently announced the detailed fixtures for the tournament, which will take place at the University Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.

The tournament will feature a total of 8 teams competing in a round-robin league format. Each team will play a series of matches before the top four teams advance to the playoffs.

Key Fixtures

  • December 2 (Monday): The Kathmandu Gurkhas will face the Chitwan Rhinos in the morning match, followed by the Janakpur Bolts vs. Karnali Yaks in the afternoon.
  • December 3 (Tuesday): The Sudurpaschim Royals will play the Biratnagar Kings, while the Chitwan Rhinos go head-to-head with the Pokhara Avengers.
  • December 4 (Wednesday): The Karnali Yaks will face the Kathmandu Gurkhas, followed by the Biratnagar Kings vs. Lumbini Lions.

Matches will continue daily, with the league phase concluding on December 16, when the Sudurpaschim Royals meet the Karnali Yaks.

Playoffs and Final

The playoffs will include:

  1. Eliminator (December 19): The third and fourth-ranked teams will compete.
  2. Qualifier 1 (December 20): The top two teams from the league stage will face off, with the winner advancing directly to the final.
  3. Qualifier 2 (December 21): The winner of the Eliminator and the loser of Qualifier 1 will play for the second spot in the final.

The grand final is scheduled for Saturday, December 21, where the two top teams will battle for the championship.
