The Lions are focused not only on excelling in the NPL but also on promoting cricket across Nepal. Hamal’s addition reflects their commitment to blending entertainment and sports to elevate the league’s appeal.

National cricket team captain Rohit Paudel leads the Lions as their marquee player. The team has also secured top international talent, including India’s Unmukt Chand, Australia’s Ben Cutting, and England’s Tom Moores.
Complementing their international lineup, the Lions boast a strong domestic squad with players like Bibek Yadav, Arjun Saud, Sundeep Jora, Durgesh Abhishek Gautam, and Bikash Agri, all acquired during last month’s auction.
With the NPL scheduled to run from November 30 to December 21, the Lions aim to combine their on-field strength with Hamal’s influential persona to captivate cricket fans and enhance the league’s visibility.
